🌿 Join Us for the BMES BioBlitz! 🌿

Come explore, discover and contribute to real science at the Buckland Mills Elementary School BioBlitz!

Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: BMES Learning Garden (behind the school near the bus loop, please park in the main parking lot and walk around back)

A BioBlitz is a fun community science event where families work together to find, observe and identify plants, insects, birds and other living things in our outdoor spaces. Participants become scientists for the day while helping document the biodiversity of our school campus.

Activities Include: 

🐝 Meet Mr. Rhodes and learn about bees and pollinators
🦋 Monarch butterfly tagging and release (we will track their migration to Mexico)
🌻 Garden and nature exploration
📱 Citizen science observations using iNaturalist
🔍 Hands-on discovery for learners of all ages

Whether you're a budding scientist, nature enthusiast or simply looking for a fun family activity, there's something for everyone!
