• Shared information regarding the strategic plans along with vision and mission
• Shared information regarding the key priorities
• Shared focus on core instruction due to pandemic
• Discussed that all schools have continuous improvement plans
• Want to expand family engagement
• PWCS is working to grow and higher more staff by 2% through university partnerships
• Paper tutoring program will be able to help students with homework and other topics available at
pwcs.edu/departments/instructional-technology/paper. This service will be available 24/7.
• Discussed Bus/transportation issues due to driver shortages
• Discussed capital improvements
• If schools are closed due to weather, superintendent council meetings will be canceled – this includes
full day or after school cancellations
• All schools need to be represented on this council
